The RSCAI Board of Directors recently completed a competitive bidding process and awarded the contract to Waste Management to provide garbage, trash, and recycling services to all Royal Shores residents. The Board decided to contract for recycling services for the entire community which provides for weekly recycling pick-up, since there was no longer an opt-in option on a voluntary basis being offered for recycling. As a result, those residents who did not previously recycle will see a slight increase in their quarterly bill, and those who previously recycled will see a slightly lower cost.
RSCAI will have recycling services with curb-side collection every Thursday beginning on October 6, 2016. Waste Management will send a mail-out to all residents with further details this week.
Garage Door Waste Collection services will remain the same on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
