FRIENDSWOOD DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (FDC) - MITIGATION AREA UPDATE.
The next work on the mitigation area located north of the Courts section of Royal Shores will start in about two weeks (on or about May 15) and last for approximately 2 months. FDC will be digging additional mitigation for the future development of section 7 (sometimes referred to as the Eagle Tract) which is located adjacent to the Pier Park at the end of Royal Shores Drive. The dirt will not be removed but left on site for future placement as Section 7 develops. The heavy digging equipment will enter the site when the operations begin and will stay on site until the operations are complete. Workers will be entering at the beginning of the day (7am) and leaving once work for the day concludes (6pm). Access to the mitigation area will be from Royal Creek Trail.
