ROYAL SHORES COMM. ASSOC., INC.

FERAL HOG UPDATE

As of today, RSCAI has two corral/traps set up to catch feral hogs in Royal Shores. One is situated north of the Courts, east of Royal Shores Drive; and the second is along the power easement on the west side of Royal Shores Drive. The locations were selected by evaluating the routes the hogs are taking into the community and on advice from the insured hog trappers. We believe there are two or more sounders of hogs that inhabit areas adjacent to our properties.

The BOD has taken this action in an effort to mitigate the feral hog problem that has caused damage to many homes throughout our community. While it is impractical to think that RSCAI alone can eradicate all of the hogs in the community, it is our intent to significantly reduce their population and cause them to migrate away from Royal Shores.

We plan to leave the traps in place for approximately 90 days, evaluate the effort, and we will keep you informed as developments occur.

LATEST UPDATE: Last night, the second trap that was installed yesterday in the Regal Point section of Royal Shores caught two (2) hogs on its first night operation on the west side of Royal Shores Drive. There was one large boar and one large sow trapped in the early morning hours.

IMPORTANT: THE TRAPS ARE CLEARLY MARKED WITH WARNING SIGNS. HOGS ARE UNPREDICITABLE, WILD, POWERFUL ANIMALS. PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH THE TRAPS, YOU COULD BE INJUREDTHAT IS WHY WE HIRED INSURED PROFESSIONALS.
